Tuchel Says Bayern Ready For Real Madrid Threat
Real Madrid turned to the same old story in the Champions League and even though Bayern Munich knew all of the words, they couldn't stop the Spanish giants from advancing to the semi-finals. Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel said Monday his side were ready for the threat posed by Real Madrid, but they were unable to stop the Spanish side from scoring three goals in the first half. Real Madrid's victory was their third in a row over Bayern Munich in the Champions League, and it moved them into the semi-finals for the first time since 2014.
Real Madrid's victory was also a victory for their manager, Zinedine Zidane. Zidane has been under pressure in recent weeks following Real Madrid's poor form in La Liga, but he has now led the team to the semi-finals of the Champions League. Zidane's team will now face either Manchester City or Liverpool in the semi-finals.
