Amazon Dash Button Statistics

Amazon is pulling the plug on Dash Button

The service never really caught on

Market research firm says orders have only increased 70 percent in the last three months

Amazon is discontinuing its Dash Button service, the company announced today. The Dash Button is a small electronic device that allows users to order products from Amazon with the press of a button. The service was launched in 2015, and Amazon has sold millions of Dash Buttons since then. However, the service has never really caught on, and market research firm CIRP says that orders have only increased 70 percent in the last three months.

There are a few reasons why the Dash Button has failed to catch on. One reason is that it is only compatible with a limited number of products. Another reason is that it is not very convenient to use. Users have to place the Dash Button in a convenient location, and they have to remember to press the button when they need to order something.

Amazon is offering refunds to customers who have purchased Dash Buttons. The company is also working on new ways to make it easier for customers to order products.
