SASSETA Graduates Programme Offers Workplace Experience
Pretoria, South Africa - July 13, 2023
The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DOJCD) is proud to announce the launch of a new initiative, the SASSETA Graduates Programme, designed to provide unemployed youth with valuable workplace experience.
The programme is open to all young South Africans who have recently graduated with a degree or diploma in a relevant field. Successful applicants will be placed in paid internships at government departments and agencies, where they will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of public service.
"This programme is a testament to the government's commitment to investing in the future of our youth," said Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Ronald Lamola. "It will provide opportunities for young people to develop their skills and knowledge, making them more competitive in the job market.
To apply for the SASSETA Graduates Programme, interested candidates must visit the DOJCD website at https://www.justice.gov.za/. The deadline for applications is August 31, 2023.
